The 2021 edition is coming to an end!

Tamara Zidansek (50) wins the 2021 edition of the Ladies Open Lausanne!

It is after a match in three sets that the Slovenian won against the French Clara Burel (125) who played her first final on the WTA circuit. The beginning of the match was largely dominated by the young Frenchwoman who was able to put in difficulty the number 1 seed of the tournament. Burel won the first set before coming within two points of the match on her own serve in the second set tie-break (5-5). Tamara Zidansek, despite the difficulties involved, recovered to win the tournament after two hours and four minutes of play with a score of 4-6 7-6 (7/5) 6-1

The 2021 edition ends on a positive note.

The second edition of the Ladies Open Lausanne closes after a week full of emotions and twists. Despite the rain at the beginning of the week, the tournament was able to benefit from good weather from Friday onwards, which allowed the players to return to the clay courts of the Tennis Club Stade Lausanne. Thanks to all the volunteers and all the members of the organization, this new edition was a great success with a public present to support the players of the tournament. Thank you to the public, to our sponsors and to all our volunteers for this wonderful edition!
