End of the third edition!

The 2022 edition of the Ladies Open Lausanne ends with Petra Martić’s 6-4/6-2 victory over Serbian player Olga Danilović under a bright sun at the Tennis Club Stade Lausanne!

Petra Martić won on the Swisspor Arena this Sunday, July 17 against Olga Danilović. The Croatian was able to defeat her opponent in two sets during a thrilling match in front of the many spectators who came to cheer the two players.

She had notably eliminated the great favorite of the tournament Belinda Bencic in the quarterfinals and then Caroline Garcia in the semifinals. This is her second title on the WTA Tour.

A doubles title for Olga Danilović and Kristina Mladenovic

Olga Danilović did not leave empty-handed, as she won the doubles tournament with Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic following the withdrawal of Tamara Zidanšek and Ulrikke Eikeri.

The public was present

This year, despite the hot weather during the week, the public did not hesitate to come and cheer the players, especially the two Swiss in the quarterfinals, Simona Waltert and Belinda Bencic.
